blyssful PRODUCTIONS (originally lucid dreams productions) is a sassy, innovative, Vancouver based production company that pushes the boundaries, the edge, encouraging people to explore, discover and "reveal their edge" through our educational productions and workshops. We have a unique niche aesthetic unlike any other that has brought us local, regional, national and international acclaim. We seek to continue creating and disseminating our work with integrity and quality in both the national and international marketplace whilst teaching our clients to do the same.

The main face of blyssful productions is BLYSS- Canada's only dominatrix clown.

Siobhan McCarthy is one of Canada's most accomplished "cross-over" artists (Canadian Theatre Review, Spring Edition 2005) - using her unique and dynamic blend of physical theatre, comedy and multi-media to explore the questions of identity, disability, sexuality and relationships in general. As Blyss; McCarthy dazzles audiences with risky, challenging performance art that stretches the boundaries of both stand-up comedy and theatre. She uses digital projection and the layering of various images and short films to drive her messages home and a live DJ often accompanies her. Hot off of her phenomenal BC and Alberta tour, Siobhan brings us "altered states - primal scream: the edge of consciousness," where she takes physical theatre to the extreme and invites us into the realm and consciousness of a "love-starved clown."
