Johnny Ranger is a video and interdisciplinary artist. He is the founder and artistic director of MINDROOTS, an ongoing project of connective art which allies itself with some of the most innovative stage creators in dance, theater and music to elaborate an open-ended narrative language. Their latest creation Les constellations dynamiques was presented for 4 nights at the society for the arts and technology in december 2005 and was restage for the Mois-Multi festival at Méduse and for the Temps d’images festival at l’Usine C in February 2007.

Johnny Ranger works thru interdisciplinary performances, visual installations, DVD films, Vjing (video-improvisation), web art, and frequently collaborates with diverse choreographers. Johnny Ranger has presented his work at the File Festival (Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro), Ars Futura (Barcelone), New Museum of Contemporary art (NYC), the Montreal Biennale, the Canadian cultural center (Paris) and in many cities around the world.
